Our Laying Hens
Our brood of 300 egg laying hens spend April through November out on the pasture! Picking through the cow pies and enjoying the sun is the perfect life for our girls!!
With our New York winters, we bring them into the barn. Their barn house has an access door we open and close to let them roam in a fenced barn yard during the day.

Broad Breasted White Turkeys--- Sold out 2016
Each year in July we raise a batch of Broad Breasted white turkeys. Most of our customers want the large breast and no pin feathers of the traditional turkey. That is why we do not raise heritage breed turkeys. For four weeks the chicks are raised in a brood house then they are put out on pasture to roam free until they are at finish weight in November. The turkeys are fed local grains to go along with the grass and bugs they forage for themselves while grazing in the pasture.
No antibiotics or growth hormones are given to any of our animals!
